Where and how to hunt them
The Brazos, Trinity, and Neches bottoms in East Texas hold enormous numbers, as does the brush country in the south and the river drainages through the Hill Country. Hogs move at night through the warm months and shift toward daylight as it cools, so summer access is often thermal or night hunting where the landowner allows it.
Ask what's permitted before booking: night hunting, thermal and night vision, dogs, and baiting are all legal on private land in Texas but not every property allows all of them.
